Tali Spencer delights in erotic fantasy and adventure, creating worlds through which she can explore the heights and shadows of sexual passion. Her characters may be gay or straight, upstanding citizens or rogues, but they will find themselves in each other's arms—though not always by choice.
Something of a nomad in childhood, she grew up in more than a dozen U.S. states from California to Maine. She began writing in Texas and carried that passion with her to her current home in Pennsylvania. She still travels whenever she can and is not afraid of planes, horses, trains, foreign highways, or camels. Her preference is for ships, however, and she enjoys taking cruises and getting ocean hair. On land, her favorite destinations are castles, museums and archeological sites.
Tali has lived in the Andes of South America and still has family there. She enjoys writing about the Aymara and Quechua cultures while also incorporating the region's breathtaking landscapes into many of her fantasy stories. Several years ago, after sipping fermented corn liquor with an Aymara shaman, she received a charm guaranteed to bring her the love of a wonderful man. It worked. The charm sits on her desk along with her beloved Prince of Persia dagger and a cute wizard whose devilish grin inspires wicked thoughts.
When not writing about passionate people falling in lust in exotic places, Tali reads other people's stories of the same, whips up mouth-watering Italian food, or walks her beloved poodle. Her erotic gay male fantasy novella, Sorcerer's Knot, was released by Dreamspinner Press in September 2012.
